Over the last few weeks the KunstBaan project has been taking place in our company. KunstBaan vzw uses art as a way to stimulate social inclusion for adults with a mental handicap.
Three clients from different care institutions in Sint-Niklaas (the Day Care Centres Sint-Niklaas, De Klokke and Vesta) were given a warm reception in the company. Guided by Laura Van Wingen, Roland, Johan and Sofie created a number of unique pieces of art. Not only that, they also did this in a way that was ecologically responsible, thanks to their use of residual products from the warehouses and manufacturing.
